What paperwork should come with every lot
A reputable supplier should be able to show a certificate of analysis (COA) for the exact lot you receive, not a generic sample report. The lot code on the vial label should match the lot code on the report.
- Measured peptide content (mg per vial), not just the label claim
- HPLC purity percentage
- Endotoxin result where available
- Test date and a verification key you can check with the issuing lab
Red flags when comparing suppliers
Be cautious with reports that are cropped, have the verification code blurred out, or don't show a lot number. Also be cautious with any seller offering dosing or usage advice: research-use-only material should not be sold with those claims.
Shipping and storage basics
Orders paid before 2 PM ET on a business day are dispatched the same day in plain, tracked packaging. Unopened lyophilised vials are typically stored at -20 °C, protected from light.
