Research use only framework

Every product listed on this site is supplied as chemical reference material for in-vitro laboratory research by qualified persons. Nothing we sell is a drug, food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, veterinary product or medical device.

None of our products carry a Drug Identification Number (DIN), and none are authorized by Health Canada for sale as a drug. They have not been assessed by any regulator for safety, efficacy or quality in humans or animals, and they are not offered for those uses.

This classification is not a formality or a disclaimer bolted onto a consumer product. It defines the only terms on which the material may lawfully be purchased, held and used.

Regulatory status in Canada

In Canada, injectable peptides are generally regulated as prescription drugs under the Food and Drugs Act. Authorized peptide drugs may only be supplied through licensed channels and used under the care of a licensed healthcare professional.

A research-use designation is not a claim of approval and does not convert an unauthorized product into an authorized one. We therefore do not offer, describe or supply any product on this site for use in or on humans or animals, in any quantity, for any purpose.

Health Canada has publicly advised consumers not to buy or inject peptides purchased online. We agree with that advice, and we do not sell to anyone intending to do so.

No-claims policy

We do not publish therapeutic, preventative, diagnostic, dosing, administration, protocol or outcome claims for any product, and we do not describe what a compound might do in a person.

Where a product page mentions a biological pathway or research area, it is describing what the compound has been studied for in published in-vitro and preclinical literature. It is not a statement that the compound produces any effect, and it is not a recommendation to use it.

We do not answer requests for dosing, reconstitution volumes, injection guidance, cycle design or protocol advice, by email, social media or any other channel. Orders that indicate an intent to administer the material are cancelled and refunded.

Labelling standard

Every vial we ship carries the compound name, the lot code, the quantity of material in the vial, and storage and handling guidance.

Every label also carries the statement: For laboratory research use only — not for human or veterinary use.

Supplier identity appears on the label and on the packing documentation, so the material can be traced back to us and to its lot at any point.

Documentation and lot traceability

Each lot we stock is accompanied by a third-party analytical report covering peptide content, HPLC purity and endotoxin, and the lot code on the report matches the lot code printed on the label.

These analyses were commissioned by the manufacturer that supplies our material, not by Millennium Biolabs. We publish them unedited on our Lab Results page, with the client and manufacturer identifiers and the report verification details redacted, and we do not represent them as testing we paid for or performed.

Analytical documentation describes the composition of a lot. It is not a representation of safety, efficacy or fitness for any purpose, and it does not authorize any use of the material.

Buyer obligations

By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 19 years of age, that you are acquiring the material for in-vitro laboratory research, and that you are lawfully permitted to receive, hold and handle it where you are.

You are responsible for handling, storing, labelling, transporting and disposing of the material in accordance with the laws, institutional policies and safety requirements that apply to you.

You confirm you will not administer the material to any human or animal, will not resell or transfer it for administration, and will not represent it as a drug, supplement or treatment.

Marketing and communications

We do not use before-and-after imagery, personal-result testimonials, condition-based marketing or influencer promotion of body outcomes, and we do not accept advertising placements framed that way.

Our mailing list is used for stock, catalogue and event updates only, sent with express consent and a one-click unsubscribe, in line with Canada's anti-spam legislation.
