Privacy policy
We collect the minimum needed to fulfil your order and nothing more. Here is exactly what that means.
What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, shipping address and any order notes you provide, along with the items ordered and the totals calculated for that order.
When you subscribe to our mailing list we collect your email address and a record of your consent, including the date it was given.
We do not collect or store payment card details. Payment is completed by Interac e-Transfer through your own bank, and we only see the transfer confirmation your bank sends us.
Why we use it
Order information is used to process, package, ship and support your order, to match your e-Transfer to the correct order, and to keep the business records we are required to keep.
Mailing-list information is used only to send you product, restock and event updates you asked for. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, in line with Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL).
Who we share it with
We share only what is necessary with the service providers that make the site and shipping work: our hosting and database provider, and the shipping carrier that delivers your parcel. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
How long we keep it
Order records are retained for the period required for tax and business record-keeping purposes. Mailing-list records are retained until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to honour the unsubscribe request.
Security
Order data is stored in an access-controlled database. Only authorised staff accounts can view order records, and the connection between your browser and this site is encrypted.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email orders@millenniumbiolabs.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
This site uses only the local storage needed to remember the contents of your shopping cart between visits. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
